You are inspirational. Thank you for the families you care for, the work you do, the businesses you run, and the good you do every day. You make Minnesota great.
I trust you to run your life and make good choices. I hope you will trust me to represent you and to continue to be your voice in St. Paul.
I would appreciate your vote on Tuesday, November 8th.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you.

Energy Policy: Your family budget is hurt by high energy prices. Every school, hospital, and business budget is hurt by high energy prices. I advocate for Reliable, Reasonably Priced Energy, that Respects the Environment.
Health Policy: Washington D.C. forced Obamacare on Minnesotans. I will continue to fight the Obamacare mandates and advocate for Minnesota solution focused on choice for your family at a price you can afford.
Education: Parents will make the best choices for their children. You should be able to choose a school based on your child’s needs. I support school choice. Our public schools need to be fairly funded. Minneapolis and St. Paul schools receive far more per pupil than schools in our district. Students should be subject to fewer Federal and State tests. Instead, we should assess a district’s performance by critical benchmarks: Can 3rd graders read at grade level.
Growing Our Economy: Minnesotan’s need a thriving economy. Between the tax climate, regulatory environment, and crushing cost of health care, our main street businesses are suffering. Reducing taxes, streamlining regulations, and reducing the cost of health coverage will remove significant barriers to economic growth. When our economy grows every Minnesotan has the opportunity to fulfill their hopes and dreams.
Government Accountability: Government at all levels should be transparent and accountable. Waste, fraud, and abuse by people who take advantage of your tax dollars should be rooted out at every level.
Privacy and Security: The government collects vast amounts of information on citizens. Concentrations of data increase the risk that someone will misuse your information or that bad actors will steal your data. I will continue to fight to stop collection of data unless it is for essential government work. (Think driver’s licenses verse medical data.) I am also part of a group of legislators that is working to ensure that our state systems are using best practices to protect your information from cyber-attack.
Life: I believe that life is a gift from God and the right to life is the foundation of all other rights. We must protect the right to life of those who are vulnerable: The unborn, the frail elderly, the sick and dying.
Self Defense: You have the right to defend your person and your property. This includes the right to keep and bear arms.
